“Short ‘N Creepy: Short and Twisted Tales, Volume 1” contains five interesting short stories ranging from humorous to horrifying. Although a couple of the stories may be suitable for children, the rest are certainly not appropriate for anyone susceptible to nightmares. As should be inferred from the title, this is Volume 1 of a series, of which quite a few subsequent volumes have been released. This is the first one I’ve read from this author, but I definitely liked what I saw. I am looking forward to reading more of the “Short ‘N Creepy” volumes. You might find that you like them, too, so why not give Volume 1 a try?Product details

This book had a lot of room for improvement. Denotes a lack of editing, patience and practice. The writer has talent, with time and effort his stories have great potential. At this point that potential still has a lot of development.
Good late night reading (with the lights ON). Short creepy stories that surprise and shock. Great reading when a full book is too much . Look foreword to other volumes.
I chose this rating because the last story left me hanging. It continues in the next book! I don't like this! Aren't people being gouged enough with gas prices, taxes and insurance costs without almost forcing people to buy another book? I know ebooks don't cost much but to most authors the reader is considered to be a friend. This is not being friendly to a reading public. I DO like the stories but if this is a future trend then I'll stop reading books and be exclusively a movie watcher.
This was a great book! The fact that it left you hanging is not odd at all. I am reading another series right now where all the books are linked. That is the point of a series, to carry you into the next book seamlessly. Great job on this book and I look forward to reading the next!
The stories are pretty good but what I didn't like is you had to buy the next book to find out the ending of the last story. But I would still recommend it but buy all of the Short n Creepy Series at the same time.
If domestic violence is a 'trigger' for you, you might consider passing on this book. However, if you like to read about the victim getting sweet revenge, then you might really enjoy these! True to the title, these stories are short. Also, there are only 5 stories in this book, with the last one not completely shared. You have to buy volume 2 to finish it.
Mr. Graves is either a pseudonym or he has an excellent viewpoint into the female condition. All stories are from a woman's perspective. All written very well and engaging. True to the title, the five tales (actually four and a half as one is continued in the next volume of the series) are very short and very creepy. There is nothing supernatural in them, but the psychological journey Graves takes you through is simultaneously intriguing and unnerving. This volume definitely leaves you wanting more. A good one-sitting read.
