Dreamweavers eBook Kerry Alan Denney

I found this to be a very well written and well plotted book. Perhaps just a bit too much coincidental happenings in the story, but it was really necessary for this story to work, and didn't detract much from my enjoyment of the book.

So why not 5 stars?

I found some of it to be a bit too ... convenient ... I guess for my taste. Again, this was somewhat necessary but not, I think, to the extent that it was played out. Again, didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the book.

I think this book could make a good movie.

I would definitely recommend it for adult reading pleasure.

Dreamweavers eBook Kerry Alan Denney Reviews

At this point I am a huge fan of Kerry Alan Denney. I have read now 4 of his books and really enjoyed them all. He has a very natural writing style that captivates you. The plot of this book is intriguing and unique, and he slowly weaves a web around you. I had a tough time to put this book down. The pace is just perfect which makes this an extremely pleasant read. I like how he covers paranormal topics that are not covered by every other author.

From the very first sentence you can't help but to love "Wonder Dog" and Travis. They are a well matched pair and soon are complemented beautifully with Toni and Kadie. Their budding relationship is adorable. Both are extremely likable people, who made it through very tough times and came out on top. Toni especially is a very strong woman and makes for a great heroine.
Nick on the other hand, I pretty much hated him from the very first sentence. He is one of those spoiled people who thinks he is owed something and everyone else is at fault, which sadly reminds me a lot of the current youth. Nick gave me the creeps and I was just baffled how evil one individual can be! Human history shows though that such evil people do exist in real life.

This is a fantastic read and I can only recommend the author and his books!

I have received this book from the author for an honest review.
This was a great idea, to me. I thought the research put into dreams and the manipulation with our subconsciousness was worthy of applause. You can see a snippet of the research in the author's notes at the end of the book as well.

The character building was true to Denney form. He has a way of sucking you into these very real-feeling people. Especially, the "good guys". Toni and Travis have had troubled pasts, but with some healing time and will-power they're working to overcome and survive. I liked watching them evolve and connect with each other. Then there's Nick, the "bad guy" who you can see isn't trying to overcome a painful past, rather he's seeking to make others suffer as he has. Unlike some of Denney's other villains, I felt Nick to be more fleshed out. He wasn't all evil, for the most part. He didn't start out in life that way but was shaped into it over time. Nick nourished the vindictive side to his personality and let it consume him.

The doggie love in this novel is obvious. I could picture my own pet in my mind with some of the descriptions and fell in love (as most animal lovers will) with Doc and Kadie.

There were a few lulls, for me. I'm not a romance fan and the build up from their first meeting is drawn out but I think romance fans will adore this! My only issue was that the ex-husband felt forced at times. Like a last minute addition to create conflict in the budding relationship. This could just be me though. He was pretty creepy when he made his way onto the scene.

CONCLUSION

The awkward, shy and charming characteristics with Toni and Travis are endearing. The romance is heated and undeniable. I'd recommend this to urban fantasy/romance fans as there's action, clear cuts into good vs. bad as well as a thrilling concepts into the subconscious mind.
This book was awesome, terrifying, and an incredible thrill ride! Humans are always the worst kind of monsters. Be prepared to stay up late reading this book, it's too hard to put down and once you finish it you may still have trouble sleeping. It will definitely give you lots to dream about.
Can dreams be controlled to help guide our everyday life? Dreamweaver's, Inc., tries to blend science with the human mind and prove it can happen and help? Mind control therapy?

Now to the heart of this book. It is a very exciting read. The amount of action, along with the author's descriptive powers, I was completely captured by this book.
Author Kerry Denney delivered a great story that kept me turning pages throughout the day. I was supposed to do laundry, kitchen, floors and other things and instead, watched the world go by and was immersed in the story.

The characters became real to me and I became immersed in their lives. Good versus evil and evil seemed to be stronger and I was worried the heroes would win in the end. But nnnaaahh, good always kicks butt and wins in the end.

This book was well written and edited. I would recommend it to all readers any time. The romance content was not 3m
